We use Mac Pro with Panther, not too sure though. It doesn't matter what the operating system is, I'm just forced to use it for video editing like you've said. I use After Effects on both, and honestly I prefer the pc... just is easier for me and my PC is much faster.
As for the crash, we have about 30 macs in a room and they all crash for different reason, and i mean "they all crash, for different reasons": one crashed by loading firefox, would only work with safari... go figure! Others just stall while loading any program for no reason. They're just as capricious as pcs to me! Guest
