that's interesting. So you experience regular crashes on the MAC? 
If you could elaborate on the probable causes, and what application cause the crash , that would be really helpful. 
 
Also, how do you find it differs from a PC crash? 
 
Are you using a G5 system at Uni or are they the new Intel Core 2 Duos? What point version of OS X 10?
