Google Earth's Hidden Flight SimulatorBored of Google Earth & Sky? Didn't think so! But just when you thought it couldn't get any more fun or immersive, Google has a nifty little surprise for you!

Google is a giant, known virtually across the globe to all generations. It has quite literally become a household name like most major products. But when Google releases a product or service you won't see it advertised on any billboard or flashing on any website. In fact, you won't even see it on their own main page!

So, in complete Google fashion, bundled in the lastest version of Google Earth & Sky comes a complete flight simulator to keep you glued to the program -- just in case you weren't already spending 2/3 of your day searching for herds of wildebeest in the plains of the Serengeti (And yes, I mean you Tech iT eZ staff).

Sangaku: The World's Most Beautiful CaseSo you've just finished designing the interior of your new apartment and it's exactly how you've dreamed, but that old PC case stands out like a sore thumb.

But there's no place like home, and your computer is personal... so shouldn't your PC be unique as well?

Nowadays home users demand a much more attractive and streamlined aesthetic to their desktop or laptop computers, and this need has been addressed by manufacturers as PC cases are being provided with many more accessories, and laptops are becoming somewhat of fancy fashion accessories in their own right (See: Vaio UX Series Micro PC and Apple MacBooks).

The accessories commonly available to individuals wanting to personalize the look of their bland old PC case are mostly intended for the teenage / PC aficionado demographic, and many of the "Rigs", as modified PC's are called, look more like suped up Asian imports taken right out of Hollywood blockbuster Fast & Furious.

Who wins? You decide! You may be rolling your eyes and thinking... "Oh No, not another teen diatribe!", don't worry we'll try to be mature about this. Over the past few months we have received numerous enquiries from our clients seeking detailed information on Apple products, in particular, MacBooks and Apple Desktops, and whether or not it is worth making the switch. So, my premise to this article is that: by no means is it intended to end all debates on such feud, nor is it intended to be a highly technical faceoff between the two platforms; it merely aims to help our inquisitive customers with some sort of information on the basis of which they can formulate their own opinions, and maybe clear some misconceptions they may have.

If you thought the rivalry between Arsenal and Chelsea was a bitter and bloodthirsty battle, let it be known to you that the feud that exists between Apple and PC supporters may very well be just as gory.

Free MagazinesWe all love our Computer Arts Magazine, Advanced Photoshop and Digit Magazine, but the sad reality is that, for some, it can be too expensive, and the only time some can get their hands on them is when they drop by their local newsagent. The internet may be full of great tutorials and articles covering nearly everything, but sometimes we just need the sequential page turn fun that a good old fashioned magazine provides.

Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista is on it's Way
Operating Systems

Windows Vista UltimateWhen Windows XP reached our computers in 2001 it came with unanimous appraisals and everyone everywhere loved it immediately, no matter if you were a Microsoft lover or not you were joining in on the celebrations. Though not quite a solid replacement for corporations comfortable with Windows 2000, it was a major improvement in stability and reliability over the previous editions of the Windows Operating Systems. Despite excelling in areas such as digital media integration, supporting more than 130,000 devices at launch, and improving task-based user interfacing, Windows XP was obviously not free of faults and a significant security update, Service Pack 1 (SP1), was released in late 2002.

While I do believe that the internet is a more than sufficient repository for designers and coders alike to expand their knowledge base and improve their technical skill set, it can be difficult to come across tutorials that demonstrate Photoshop techniques applied to graphic designs and the creative thought driving the particular decisions. Photoshop Secrets of the Pros: 20 Top Artists and Designers Face Off opens up to the user some new and interesting design techniques, particularly in the digital collage illustration category and is an overall source of creative inspiration.
