Have you wanted to shut down your PC, only to have it put into Sleep mode? If you want that changed then this tip is for you.

To change this in the Start menu, you need to go into Control Panel, then System and Maintenance and into Power Options. 

Below the power plan selected, click "Change Plan Settings" and then select "Change Advaced Power Settings."

Expand "Power Buttons and Lid" followed by "Start Menu Power Button." Click on "Setting:" and select Shut Down from the drop-down list.
