Google Labs: Where Google's Crazy Scientists Plot Daily on How to Dominate the World!After having posted an entry regarding Google's habit of developing services and not really advertising them, we realized that many don't realize what else Google has developed and not told us about.

With exclusion of the obvious and well know gMail and Google Docs Suite, here is a list of the best Google online applications that you never knew existed.

And while some of the applications may not seem immediately useful, it is important to remember that many of these still under heavy construction.

The applications appeal to a variety of end users, from programmer to recreational users alike.

Google Codeseach allows user to search of open-source code on the internet, and includes code from a myriad of languages: from Ada to Yacc.
Codesearch, unlike other code search engines, allows for search of regular expressions in queries. So, if you're looking for an important piece of code chances are you might just find it with Codesearch.

You have a new recipe for Tiramisu, but you don't have website, and you want to share it online? There a few ways to go about this: 1) you could post it on a blog; 2) you could get your own website; 3) or you could post it on Google Base.

I like the whole philosophy behind google and not really advertising their services much. 
 
It makes me wonder how many other applications are out there that we don't know about. 
 
I'll have to keep looking... and i'll add my findings!
